The Cook

The last 5 images including this one are part of an on going series of portraits that I have been working on. These latest images were taken of an old friend who now works in a small "grease joint" in my hometown Wilmette, IL. I'm interested in photographing people in their work environment because its where people, like it of not spend a lot of their time. Time spent at work sometimes 10+ hours a day in their environment almost becoming religious in a way. The work place turns into pretty much a second home.

Color Scheme

A house I found while walking around Evanston. It shows hope that is will be restored. Lets hope so they surely don't make them like you used to.....

Rural America

This is it. The war in America is in the heartland. Where subdivisions are taking over farms and farmland and taking away America's soul.... Its a war that's being lost slowly over the years. Instead of revitalising small towns these gross subdivisions are taking over and who knows when its going to stop......probably won't. A shame

Urban Fresh

What does "Urban Fresh" have to do with the city producing food? Should it be something like "Rural Fresh"? I just kinda find it funny...
